THE BEAUTY IS IN THE LIFTING

“The beauty is in the lifting, not the competing.”

And for that, I am so thankful.

At the start of publishing, those were some of the words placed upon my heart… LIFT, don’t compete.

I didn’t fully understand how it related to writing books but I recorded it. And as the days ticked on, I could see how easy it can be to fall into the traps and lies of comparison and competing.

BUT GOD.

He created each of us with a distinct & uniquely beautiful purpose. Therefore, we never need to compete for someone else’s or even compare ours to another.

WE HAVE OUR OWN. 🤍

It is unique.

It is beautiful.

It is God-given.

“Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.” ~ 1 Thessalonians‬ ‭5:11‬ ‭

LET’S LIFT EACH OTHER UP.

Let’s not compete. Instead, let’s encourage others with:

🤍 prayer

🤍 speaking truth in love &

🤍 using our words & acts as blessings

I’m so grateful for friends like that:

🤍 those who genuinely cheer, pray & LIFT

🤍 those who I can have the best laughs with but also the deepest talks

🤍 those who love me for who I am- imperfections & all, but who will also call me out in love when needed

I pray to be a friend like that too. 🤍

And while this picture started to make me sad that “summer” is over, it makes me excited too, for this new season of loving and lifting. It makes me feel so #thankfulgratefulblessed
