No perfect words 

no perfect day 

to stand for what is right 

to hide behind silence 

when the heart has so much to say.

 

No perfect past 

no perfect way to teach 

but there is color 

we cannot be blind 

for in each shade

beauty is what you find. 

 

No perfect draft 

no perfect time 

united we must stand 

hand in hand. 

For in His glorious name

all hearts beat the same. 

 

So don’t overthink 

don’t leave it up to the mind 

follow the heart 

united in Christ 

and that is where 

words you will find

united together under God

there is love 

and there is no better kind.
